2. G4 Facility Management Botswana 11 April 2011 – Present
Position held: Senior Maintenance Technician
FACILITY MANAGEMENT PROJECT - University of Botswana (UB) new
buildings including swimming pool and stadium.
Duties:
•Attending to and operating Computerized Maintenance Management System
(CMMS) and Building Management System (BMS) for each building Mechanical
plants.
•Routine checks of each building defects or faults.
•Making sure that all reported faults are rectified in time.
•Entering of maintenance data on the system and issuing job cards.
•Monitoring UPS room cassettes for cool temperatures.
• Checking all water pumps and irrigation system for good working condition.
•Monitoring water circulation e.g. surface water, foul water, domestic water and
water pressure pumps.
• Checking if underground water pumps are functioning properly for each
building.
•Monitoring water treatment for the pool and the pumping of pool used water to
the reservoir for watering gardens.
•Producing monthly maintenance reports.
•Supervising Maintenance contractors and inspecting completed jobs.
•Checking the level of cleanliness and supervising cleaning companies for each
building.
