• As the Global Account Director I was responsible for managing the Shell
global account, which was Oceaneering’s second largest customer with
regards to annual revenues, generating over $230M in annual sales.

General Manager – BOP Controls, November 2010 – October 2014
• As the General Manager of Oceaneering’s Blowout Preventer (BOP) Controls
Division, I had full P&L responsibility for the business. I managed a team
greater than 100 people consisting of Sales, Engineering, Project Management,
Supply Chain, Accounting, Quality and Manufacturing.
• BOP Controls Division was responsible for designing, manufacturing and after
sales support of BOP Control Systems for the deepwater oil and gas drilling
industry.
• Developed sales strategies and reduced costs to grow revenue by 150% and
operating income by 750% in four years.
• Under my leadership BOP Controls improved On Time Delivery (OTD) from
60% OTD to 95% OTD and reduced quality escapes by 90%.
2. • Lead the effort for capital expansion of manufacturing facilities to support
business growth.
• Achieved American Petroleum Institute Q1 and 16D certification under my
leadership.
• Responsible for presenting monthly, financial results and forecasts for the
business unit to executive management.

• As the Managing Director, I was responsible for the P&L of Scana’s Houston
office, which consisted of engineering, manufacturing, accounting and sales.

M-I SWACO had over $6 billion in annual sales, and provided drilling fluids,
completion fluids, solids control, pressure control, rig instrumentation, and drilling
waste management products and services in 72 countries for the upstream oil and gas
drilling industry.
Director of Capital Sales, March 2005 – May 2009.
Sr. Account Representative, October 2000 – March 2005
• As the Director of Capital Sales, I managed a total global team of 36 people
consisting of sales and engineering personnel that were located in the USA,
Scotland, Colombia, Brazil, Singapore, Norway, India, China and U.A.E. The
total staff also included eight Inside Sales personnel, and seven Project
Engineers.
• Responsible for selling solids control equipment, drilling chokes, de-gassers,
mud/gas separators, etc. to drilling contractors.
• Increased Capital Sales revenue by 270% in 4 years.
• Increased M-I SWACO’s market share in solids control equipment from 18%
to 30% under my leadership.
• Implemented pricing strategies that achieved the companies’ revenue and
EBIT goals.
• Developed the global sales strategy and campaign for Capital Sales.
• Provided input to engineering to develop new products.

3. Stewart & Stevenson Petroleum Equipment Division manufactured wellhead pressure
control equipment and sub sea riser systems for the oil and gas drilling industry.

• Sold capital equipment for subsurface drilling.
• Called on deepwater offshore drilling contractors and oil companies, solved
customer problems, worked with engineering to improve and develop new
products, and conducted contract negotiations.
• Sold to Transocean, the world’s largest deepwater contractor, Stewart &
Stevenson’s first subsea BOP.
6/96 – 1/00 Hydril Company, Houston, Texas
Hydril Company manufactured and repaired wellhead pressure control equipment and
accessories for the oil and gas drilling industry.

• Sold parts, capital equipment, remanufactured equipment, repair services, and
technical sales of engineered products.
• Called on drilling contractors and supply stores in Houston and Oklahoma.
• Solved customer complaints, expedited orders, supervised inside sales, studied
market intelligence, created business plans, and conducted contract
negotiations.
• Helped increase Hydril’s over-haul and repair business from $6 million to $12
million dollars per year when I joined the company in 1996.
• Established several new accounts, the biggest of which was Nabors Drilling.

Sphere Supply, Inc. was the purchasing subsidiary of Santa Fe International
Corporation, an international oil and gas drilling contractor.
