2. Camera angles and movements
This is an example of a high angle shot, and
shows the artist, Puff Daddy, looking up
towards the camera, as he appears to be
sending an emotional message to somebody.
It also shows that he is lower than the camera,
meaning he is in a bad position and is trying to
redeem his losses.
This is also a pan shot, where the camera
slowly rises from ground level, as PD’s
glasses appear to follow its movements,
showing that the message he is sending
through the song is personal.

3. Mise-en-Scene
This is a shot of PD seemingly being released
through some gates. This is shown at the same
time as the lyric “In the future I can’t wait to see, If
you open up the gates for me”. These gates help
the audience to understand that he is trying to
rekindle a relationship and is looking forward
and going through these gates signifies that once
again he is trying to get something. The gates, in
this case, may represent an obstacle in PD’s
relationship.
As well as this, the fact that we
can see through PD’s glasses
perhaps tells us that he is in a
weak position and people can
see his suffering.

4. Editing
This is an example of editing where the shot cuts away and fades to show a shot at a similar
angle in the same area. The lighting, which allows us to see just candles and a mans face,
creates a nice atmosphere These cutaways show each member of the group 112.
