needs to be set up at city/community level
to take care of elders and their safety

Educational institutions need to be connected with the
elders for making students visit the elders and take care of
them. This would help in creating awareness among
children to take care of the elders at home
Each elder must be documented in terms of their
strength/liking and those must be leveraged by providing
them necessary logistic
Elders must be encouraged to get involved in various
activities to keep them busy. They can also be encouraged
to help the poor in their education/learning etc
Dedicated funds must be marked for the welfare of elders .
Individuals must be made to contribute for the welfare of
elders
Government may consider levying a cess for securing
resources for the welfare of the elders
Architects need to redefine their role in the care of elders
