Photo shoot planning document
What emotional impact do you want your photography do have upon the reader
and how will you achieve this?
I would like my photography to convey the feeling of isolation that some immigrants
into the UK may feel. I will achieve this by setting my photography so that the main
model stands out from the rest of the people going past them, I may use a blur effect
to make them stand out.
What personnel do you need? Who are you going to photograph?
I will only need the one model and use a busy street to capture the photo and create
the desired effect.
What props will you need?
I won’t need any props as I would like the model to look as natural as possible.
How are you going to emphasise colour?
I will emphasise colour by using the blur effect and incorporating bold newspaper
headlines to illustrate the message I would like to convey.
Have you briefed your personnel/models?
Yes I have briefed my model on the nature of the photography and the desired impact.
What lighting will you need? Any other equipment?
I will be making use of natural lighting and only need a camera and possibly a tripod
to achieve still photos.
Where will you shoot? Will you need a backdrop?
I will be shooting on busy streets and city backdrops.
Mise-en-scene - Make-up? Costumes? Props?
In terms of Mise-en-scene the most important part will be the positioning of the model
in comparison to the rest of the people featured in the photograph to achieve the
desired effect.
