Frosty Tech is looking for summer and fall mechanical and chemical engineering students to work with them out of Kansas City and St. Louis. UPDATE: For the summer internships, it is necessary to be in Olathe and Chesterfield for the months of May - August.

1. Kansas City Summer Internship

We’re looking for a Chemical or Mechanical Engineering Intern to work with our Chief Technology Officer
out of our lab in Olathe, KS. It is a paid, full-time temporary position. 40 hours/week. Start date
flexible. The monthly stipend is $2,000/month for June and July. Stipend pro-rated for May and August.

Responsibilities
● Contribute to team projects and objectives
● Assist with conceptual design of membrane separation processes and the development of phase
change materials
● Set up and perform benchtop laboratory experiments
● Analyze data from automated test system and present reports
● Create test procedures for analysis of phase change materials
Requirements
● Pursuing an engineering degree, preferably in chemical or mechanical engineering
● Familiarity with standard chemistry lab equipment and procedures
● Proficiency with Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
● Able to work both individually and in a team environment
● Fluent in English
● Ability to be in Olathe, KS, USA for the months of September-November

2. Kansas City Fall Internship

We’re looking for a Mechanical Engineering Intern to work with our Prototyping Engineer. It is a paid, part-time
position located out of our office in Chesterfield, MO. 15-20 hours/week. It is a paid, full-time temporary position. 40
hours/week. Start date flexible. The monthly stipend is $2,000/month for June and July. Stipend pro-rated for May

● Perform thermal and mechanical analysis of systems and components
● 3D modeling, design, and documentation of prototypes (Autodesk Inventor, Matlab, Ansys)
● Assist with electrical integration and programming for automated data collection (Preferred experience with
Arduino)
● Hands-on fabrication and assembly (including 3d printing)
Requirements
● Pursuing Mechanical Engineering Degree
● Familiar with a major CAD Package (preferred Autodesk Inventor or Fusion 360)
● Experience with basic shop tools (3D printing experience a bonus)
● Proficiency with Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
● Able to work both individually and in a team environment
● Fluent in English
● Ability to be in Chesterfield, MO, USA for the months of September-November.

4. St. Louis Fall Internship
