Brushing of Teeth removes bacteria and should be done twice a day or after meals using a pea-sized amount of toothpaste and brushing all surfaces of the teeth with either a circular or up-and-down motion for 2-3 minutes. Flossing of teeth using dental floss removes food between teeth that a brush cannot reach by holding the floss with both hands and using it between both the upper and lower teeth. Care for gums involves gently massaging the gums with toothbrush, using small circular motions for 10 times in each section and brushing along the gum line before using mouthwash for 2 minutes.

• 2. Use floss between upper teeth.

• 4. Make sure to gargle with a glass of water after you floss.

4. Care for gums – the gums hold the teeth in place. Taking good care of the gums
can keep them and your teeth strong.
1. Gently massage the gums by placing the toothbrush firmly outside of the back
lower gum.
2. Use small circular and upward motion to the top of the gums.
3. Repeat 10 times before moving to the next section of the gums.
4. Brush gently and carefully along the gum line.
5. Use a mouthwash.
6. Swish the mouth wash around the mouth for about two minutes. Then spit it
out.
