understand myself deeper while realizing my goals and direction in the industry.

ABOUT ME

Design is ubiquitous, everything we view has ele-
ments of design inside. I am a right brain thinker
where in my opinion, art images create good impres-
sions to express meaning and messages. Practical
activities are more suitable for me to understand the
purpose.
I’m passionate about what I do where I enhance
myself and industry readiness by doing online video
tutorials to enhance my knowledge on software skill.

4. During my free time, I often
watch video tutorials and
video production works in
YouTube. This provides me
with inspiration as well as
opportunities to analyse
the principles and workflow
of their works undertaken.
MY PASSION
?
My inspiration comes from doing tutorials from Cinecom.net
and Zach King. For references inspiration I follow The Chain-
smokers and The Weeknd. Cinecom.net explains famous
visual effects works and how to produce them in a casual
way. Zach King is a filmmaker on YouTube and other applica-
tions. His channel is about magic tricks, using editing skills
to make visual effects in real life. Lastly, The Chainsmokers
is an electronic DJ and The Weeknd is a singer; their music
videos have good transitions to learn and refer to.

5. I learned how to build 3d models with the basic functions, setting up project files
properly to ensure nothing is missing while transferring to others, shortcut keys and
tips while animating the timeline. Project have been created such as Leaf and boxes
falling assignment, worm storytelling animation assignment where the final project
encompassed a futuristic vehicle racing project.
3D ANIMATION
I feel very much attracted to this subject where it brings me pleasure creating
my own 3d models and converting them into an animation. With my skills, I can
apply my knowledge such as 3d modelling, joints of the object, timeline anima-
tion editing and the software settings. With the knowledge and practices
gained, I am capable of creating 3d animations from start to finish.

7. I learned a lot of skills in After Effects such as puppet tool to animate 2d pictures,
roto brush to mask out objects, key light to remove green screen, tracker to insert
or replace object in 3D and mocha to do surface replacement.
Motion tracking assignment, puppet pin tool assignment, roto brush assignment,
surface replacement assignment, green screen assignment, final project was a
music video with green screen.

8. I felt amazed with this subject
as it involved addition of effects into the video
process; the differences between visual effects
and special effects. Visual effects are fake/not
real, created digitally. Special effects are created
in real life while shooting the footage. I can apply
my skills such as green screen to replace the
background and change the location, mocha to
replace human eyes to become fiery eyes and
puppet tool to animate 2d objects such as
elongating a hand like a superhero with powers.

9. I learned how to design a booklet by using principles of fonts, digital
typography animation and hierarchy of fonts to arrange the placement,
size, and the family. Project have been created such as Font booklet
design, commercial digital typography animation.
DIGITAL TYPOGRAPHY
I feel the seriousness of learning this subjects; the usage of fonts or words to help
with the expression and tone of voice. Understanding the principles of fonts by prac-
ticing, different types of font having their own meaning to express. Examples, bold to
represent strong, italic to represent fast. With my skills, I can apply the hierarchy of
fonts to describe the feeling, using After Effects skills to animate a commercial or to
create lyrics music video using Kinetic Typography.

We netted the “Best Performance” team for this drama
which was about an investigation of a werewolf that
was killing villagers in the midnight.”

MID-AUTUMN FESTIVAL FLYERS

This project involved Autumn Festival
flyers design; to introduce products
of the company such as lanterns,
candles as well as their promotional
offers. It took me around a week to
complete this project.
