2. “Anyounghaseyo~”
Hi, I am See Siew Dee. I am currently pursuing in Diploma in
Multimedia Design in Saito University College. I am interests in
drawing, designing, photography and video editing.
This is my digital portfolio that showcase my experience and
some artworks. I have learned about time management is
important to for every project. I also learn from my senior’s work
about how to express my learning journey.

3. About Me
My name is See Siew Dee. I am 20 years old. I was born and raised in
Teluk Intan which is located in Perak in 1998. I’m taking Diploma in
Multimedia Design from 2016 to 2019 in Saito University College.
Including me, there is six members in my family.
The reason why I study design is after graduated from secondary
school, I am very confused about what course should I study. I love
drawing and something related to art, after discuss with my family,
I make decision to study design. After study design,
I never regret and cherish every chance to learn new thing.
I believe design can make the world beautiful.

I have always been trying to improve my skills by self learning
Photoshop and Illustrator skills through Youtube.I will also watch
drama, movies and reading fiction novel in my free time. It can give
me inspiration in design.
About Me

5. My Passion
My dreams is want to create a design or work that can be knows by
the whole world. The thing that will drive me to succeed is I want to
lead my family to go with a carefree life. My interests is drawing,
designing, photo shooting and video editing.
My inspiration come from a Japan animation artist which is
Hayao Miyazaki. I appreciate his talent that able to create animation
that can touching people. Every animation that create by him hide
some deeper meaning that out of expectation. He able to contribute
almost his whole life for art. There is also a Instagram page that
inspiration me which is Woowvisuals. This is an Instagram account
that I follow currently. He make me interest in photography
because the work he post is amazing for me.

|Computer Graphic Design
Computer Graphic Design is the subject that bring me to learned my first software
in design career which is Adobe Illustrator. I have learned many things from this sub-
ject. After learned this subject, I am familiar with using pen tool to create shape,
design and trace out a figure. I also start learning Adobe Photoshop in this subject. I
learned how to crop an image, how to using a brush and create a brush.
I also learned the way to choose the right colour and text. The important of doing
Computer Graphic Design is we need to familiar with the tools and do not scare to
make mistake, bravely express your ideas. I can create poster, magazine front cover
and vector art by using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. I believe my skill in this both
software can be apply in my future industry.

|Digital Typography
Ihave learned many things in Digital Typography. The software that I mostly used in this sub-
ject is Adobe Illustrator and After Effects. I have use Illustrator to create a booklet design and
After Effects to create kinetic typography. I have learned that every different font brings their
own meaning and representing different emotions. I learned how to use the fonts in the right
moment and situation.
I also learned that the tracking, kerning and paragraph for space is important to let the con-
tent’s arrangement looks well. It is important to choose the right font to match up with your
theme of work so the reader can get the meaning and feeling when they read. Other than that,
I have learned that the typography hierarchy and chooses colour of words is important to at-
tract people eyes ball. We need to make the most important content as the focus point. In
kinetic typography, I have learned how to animate the words and present the words meaning
and emotion with the narration.

|Photography
Photography is an interesting subject for me. The software that I mostly used in this
subject is Adobe Photoshop. I have learned the basic theory of camera origin and skill
of how to use a camera. It was an interesting experience for me when we get in-
struction to shooting outdoor at KLCC at night and temple at day.
I learned how to use Photoshop to edit my photo to make it more perfect. The import-
ant of photography is the shooting angle and lighting of the object or situation. Pho-
tography become my interested after this class. I hope I can use my photography skill
in every moment of my life.

12. My Learning Journey
|Videography
Ilike this subject because it is fun and meaningful for me. I have learned how to use
Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects in this subject. The primary point that I learned
in Videography is team spirit of a group. For me, the cooperation and communication
between the group member is very important since that everyone have different opin-
ion when produce a work.
I learn to plan our schedule nicely before shooting so the process of shooting will go
smooth. I also learn how to edit video like replace frame, text tracking and sketch.
The important of videography is we should check the video clip after every shoot to
avoid reshoot problem. I hope I can apply my videography skill and team spirit in group
to my future works.

14. Showcase |Computer Graphic Design
This is my free time work after learning CGD1. I like
k-pop’s music and drama, so I use my Illustrator
skill to create some vector art of my idols.
My work is praised by my friends and some of them
asked me to create their portrait vector art. I feel
happy and proud because I can create vector art of
my favourite idols.

I like photography, this is some of my work in college and free time work. I mostly use phone
to shoot the moment that I like and meaningful. I get a good result in my photography
subject. I also like to post my work at Instagram, I have received some
good comment from my followers.

18. Showcase |Community Service
The NGO campaign, Earth Rescue Team (ERT) main purpose
is to help the poor kids and the kids who get abuse. We
design sticker and selling in college to get the budget for
buying presents for kids. Our organizer is Shelter Home.
The shelter’s owner requests us to teach the kids about
design. We teach them drawing and origami. We also help
them clean up the house and paint their wall. The poor kids
and family were happy and our organizers ( http://ww-
w.shelterhome.org/ ) was satisfied and grateful.
