Hi,I’m a multimedia design student studying in Saito University College. This digital portfolio will bring you through my learning journey towards my growth and experiences as a designer.
5. BASIC DRAWING
What was done during this subject is to learn anatomy
from scratch. What was learned was how to draw a human
anatomy with guidance. The importance of this subject
is that it helps me to build a foundation of how to
draw a person properly with better proportion. In Basic
Drawing what was taught to us was perspective. With
perspective a lot of things can be done such as drawing
a room or building with better depth and understanding.
This can be used for almost all design based job’s for
example concept art, 3D modelling and etc. implemented
at every stage of the production pipeline, hence it is
important to have strong fundamentals in this drawing.
7. DIGITAL ILLUSTRATION
Digital Illustration. What was taught to us in this
subject is that how to do drawing digitally by using
software such as Adobe Photoshop, Clip studio Paint
and etc. this subject mainly focus for those who are
more comfortably to draw digitally as they are not
able to draw traditionally. This subject enhance a
person’s skill with drawing, colouring and tracing.
This subject can be applied to a lot different kind
of job such as a concept illustrator and
even base out for 3d modelling.
10. PHOTOGRAPHY
What was taught to us were the methods on how to take better
photos. The first thing we learnt was the “Exposure Triangle”
which includes ISO, Shutter speed and Aperture. The importance
of studying the Exposure Triangle is so that you are able to
control the amount of light going into the camera. There were
many other concepts and shotsthat we learnt when using the
Exposure Triangle. The importance of learning this is for us to
capture different kinds of photos such as Wildlife Photography,
landscape photography or even wedding photography. So yes it
is important to learn the Exposure Triangle.
12. 3D MODELING
What was learnt was the ability to replicate and make
our own personal 3d object with a software called
Autodesk Maya. We started by using solid objects
and reshaping them into ways we wanted. The importance
of this is that when we are working in the animation
or games industry this is one of the key steps for
creating a game character or even a pre setup for the
3D rigger. It is very important as 3D modellers will
model the object or subject to make it much better
and look more realistic in a 3d view rather than a
2d flat view.
14. INSPIRATION
My inspiration is that to create a good enviroment for
my parent to live in the future, as well as creating
a studio based on design. For I want to create a
legacy for my family. My idols were my parents and
Mashima Hiro the creator or Fairy Tail and Eiichiro
Oda the creator of One Piece.
