2. DEFINATION OF RESPIRATION
 A metabolic process in living-things cells of organisms that obtains energy
by taking in oxygen and releasing carbondioxide
.What do we mean by metabolism?
.It is the process by which the body changes food and drink into energy.

3. TWO TYPES OF RESPIRATION
 Aerobic respiration
.Its a complete breakdown of food with the release of all the energy stored in
it.
.glucose +oxygen =carbon dioxide + water + energy
 Anaerobic respiration
.This respiration takes place without oxygen. its produces less energy than
aerobic respiration because food is not completely broken down into carbon
dioxide and water with the release of all its stored energy.
.Glucose=Carbon dioxide+ Alcohol+ Energy
