I am currently a student at the University of Sheffield in my final year and looking to gain valuable
experience towards working in the field of Neuropsychology, with specific interest in neuro-
rehabilitation. I am an approachable, hard-working and motivated individual, eager to learn more about
a field I am highly passionate about.

Developed an understanding of key concepts and skills in psychological theory and
research, gaining a range of skills including critical essay writing and research
techniques.
Taken part in and managed a research project testing the effects of different
methods of learning and composed a full report.
Achieved first class grades in both statistic and critical skills modules.
Developed skills and techniques using SPSS software.
Relevant modules: Neuropsychology, Cognitive Psychology, Clinical Psychology
and Individual Differences.

school work, cooking for and help with personal challenges).
Work on a flexible, part-time schedule suited to the family’s needs.

Present Customer Service Assistant (Part-Time)
A responsible and trustworthy member of the team with excellent time
management skills.
Built on previous customer service skills and display approachability and
friendliness. Also developed skills to tactically deal with customer concerns.

-Present Mentor
Mentor and support individuals in the community on a one-to-one basis, with the
aim to help offenders stay clear from crime and distance themselves from
previous offending behaviour.
Focus on rehabilitation and integrating clients back into the community. For
example, focus on housing, finances, health, career aspirations, personal affairs
and hobbies; tailored to the clients needs.

2. August 2016 Volunteers for European Bulgaria
Psychology Placement (abroad)
Got involved in the process of deinstitutionalisation in mental health services in
Bulgaria; which involved the movement of institutional service users to boarding
and foster homes.
Worked and interacted with children and adults diagnosed with a range of
conditions such as, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Hydrocephalus, Autism and
mild to severe intellectual disabilities. Also worked with children classified as
deviant.
Taken part in training sessions led by lecturers and PhD students from The
University of Plovdiv;
-Effective Communication with Children and Adolescents with Severe
Intellectual and Multiple Disabilities.
-Clinical Diagnosis and Methods of Work with Children Suffering from

Additional Skills
IT Well practised in the use of Microsoft office, including the functions in Excel.
Developed throughout my degree; skills in SPSS- analysing statistics and interpreting
the results.
Statistics Developed a good understanding of statistics in A-Level Mathematics and built on these
skills throughout my degree in statistical models and research projects.

Societies I am a member of the Psychology society and enjoy socialising and taking part in events
with other members.
Science I have a strong interest in the medical field. I enjoy reading medical and psychology
journals to update my knowledge on current medical and psychological advances.
