LEADERSHIP
Before I discuss about Leadership, I just want you to give your opinion about our
Ex-President Rodrigo Roa Duterte.
Is he a good Leader and good influencer to us? Or not?. Is he done all of his promises
during his term?, Are you satisfied of his works and projects way back to his
presidency?
Others maybe say "Yes" and others maybe says "No" that's because all of us has a
different perceptions and opinions of how we see our Leader leads us, they way how
they do their roles and obligations not just for us but in our country or either in every
company.
So now, let's take a look for the differences of the word "Leader" and "Leadership ".
Leadership- is a the art of influencing people to get the necessary support and
cooperation in community affairs and to maintain solidarity among people. It is the
ability to influence others towards desired goals. It also means " doing the right things".
It means that leadership is the ability or an action to lead or guide a group of people or
an organization to maintain solidarity or unity within the people. It also encourage them
and inspires trust and confidence to achieve their goals or objectives.
Leader- A Leader is one who helps/facilitates communities of people, take risks, and
envisions a better future for his/her group, encourage commitment, and helps people
move ahead along a path to accomplish a goal. Leaders are needed to make decisions, to
direct community activities, and to speak for the community both in relation to it's
internal organization and it's outside relationships.
Let me say an example, like what we are doing right now. Sir Gamarcha groups us into
5 Groups and we set a leader in every groups. So the leader will give a guide and give a
task to each of the members, helps them, explained everything that they need to know.
For me, to be a good leader I always do have a communication with them, asking them
if they have any concerns to their task, and I motivate them, direct them and help each
other to achieved our goals or objectives.
