8. Tourism
• Chaudadanapura is a small village in Ranebennur taluk. The Mukteshvara Temple is a single cella
temple in Jakkanachari style. Similar temples built under the patronage of Kalachuri or Seuna dynasties.
• Byadagi is located 15 km from Haveri is famous for the Byadagi chilies. The Tungabhadra River, 38 km
away from Byadagi, is the main source of water supply.
• Siddhesvara Temple, considered an ornate example of 12th century Western Chalukyan art is well
known for the loose sculptures of Hindu deities that exist and features delicately carved marvelous pillars
& an ornate ceiling with floral designs. The exterior walls are beautifully carved.
• Kaginelli, a small serene village which lures the visitors by its panoramic landscape and lush greenery lies
nine miles west of Haveri on the way to Hirekerur.

district which will comprise of agriculture SEZ,
Agriengineering, Agri research units, primary
processing centers etc.

poultry are major activities
