Some pros of the long term program are that because they are longer the student has the chance and time to really work on their issues with the help of
much more intensive therapy than an RTC. Instead of having to leave school for a month or two at these programs there is schooling offered to help the
students to not fall too far behind and even catch up if they were behind. Though the structure can be seen as harmful at times, it also teaches the
students the importance of structure in their lives and not just being a wild spontaneous party animal. The staff and students have more time to create
bonds that can be lifelong along with student–student relationships. Having relationships with the people where you are living helps one to feel more

Have you noticed something wrong with the vocabulary that the young people of the modern world have been using? If not, I suggest you take
another look. The words and sentence structure has become lazy and lost its rightful rank of importance, falling into the youths' view of boring and
tedious. The vast amount of words are slowing decaying to the last of their lives, soon to be un– or misused by the masses, some even becoming
extinct out of malpractice or ignorance of the current existence. Sadly, definitions have even been altered due to being wrongly used in everyday

Posture, dressing nicely or appropriately, speaking in a calm and collected voice, and keeping visible grooming can improve the visual aspects of being
a professional or an adult in a good position.
There are many downsides to using informal and improper language in inappropriate situations. Some are: 1. being seen as unprofessional 2. being
denied something you were applying for, such as a job position 3. not being respected as you should 4. and finally, possibly being forcibly removed
from a location. These are just a few major of many negative reactions to an adult speaking with underdeveloped speech skills can have if they do not
try to correct themselves.
There is a myriad of ways to help teens and young children develop useful language and social skills. Schools, middle and elementary, can provide
classes that deal with teaching children and teens about how to portray themselves in the best light for each situation. It would be similar to
Professional Communications, which teaches ways to write and to give speeches in front of an audience, including persuasive techniques. The Uses
and Complexity of Argument Structures in Expert and Student Persuasive Writing by Joanna Crammond explains a study done by the author. It studies
the complexities of sentence structure and word usage of kids in grades 6, 8, and 10, and how they differ from that of experts in persuasive writing.

"Similarities and Differences between Youth of Today and Yesterday" I was born in 1970, spent my teenage years in the 1980's and am currently
raising teenagers in the second decade of 2000. Reflecting on my teen years I recall large hair, tight designer jeans, leg warmers and Madonna
blaring out of the boom box that we lugged around on our shoulders. As I look around at the teenagers of today I see various 70's, 80's and 90's
clothes styles come and go, hair of different colors decorating boys, girls and transgender individuals. Music no longer blares from a large box, but

Today's teens, no longer talk, but text. They use social media menus that change in popularity each year. Facebook is out, Twitter is for older
individuals, Instagram, Facetime and Snapchat dominate today but maybe not tomorrow. Teens in my day associated with friends in their school and
neighborhoods. In today's world the internet allows youth to communicate with people across the country and the world. They can be in a room of a
hundred people and not communicate to one of them, but at the same time be texting or facetiming hundreds across the globe. Technology is amazing
at connecting but can be incredibly isolating as well. Teens in 2017 have the added stress of cyber bullying and posting something inappropriate on
the internet that can affect their life forever. An underage drinking picture put on Instagram can destroy a youth's admittance into college and work
careers before they even get started. The world is not as forgiving for the youth today as it was in the 1980's. teens throughout the ages have and
continue to deal with Human sexuality is a subject that. All youth go through the awkward years of puberty, discovering who they are as a person,
changing voices, changing bodies and self–esteem fluctuations. The difference today versus when I was a teen is that the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and
Transgender movement has come to the forefront of public awareness. In my day, the
