We are a salt production company installed in the Ebro
Delta. This place has been vinculated to salt production
since 1869.
Infosa produces 80K tonnes of salt per year with modern
production techniques and equipment.
Also, our employees are professionals with great

3. Different types of salt
• Sea salt: This comes from sea water evaporation in
saltworks
• Gema salt or rock salt: These come from landmines
exploitation

• This kind of salt is “harved” in saltworks located in large
tract of land near sea

evaporate sea water.

• That’s why sometimes there are special tanks used in
saltworks called “pans”. These “pans” ensure the process
of evaporation in alloted time.

• After the evaporting process, there are two types of salt
that can be obtained considering their moisture level.
• Dry sea salt: maximum moustire level not over 0.3%
• Wet sea salt: with a maximum of 4% humidity in its
composition
