Outlook for the day
The market is likely to open flat with a positive bias as U.S. markets show
signs of expansion. Asian stocks traded mixed with China leading the gainers
list on reforms enhancing its connectivity to global markets. On the political
front back home, Manohar Parrikar is the new Defence Minister and Suresh
Prabhu will head the Railway Ministry Minister in the expansion-cum-reshuffle
of the Narendra Modi ministry after 21 new Ministers were sworn-in.
Dena Bank, IOCL, Apollo Tyres, Entertainment Network, Bharat Forge,
Adani Ports & SEZ, Adani Power, IPCA Lab, Motherson Sumi, Jain Irrigation,
IL&FS Eng, Omaxe, REC Ltd, SREI Infra and will announce its quarterly result
today. As per provisional figures, foreign institutional investors (FIIs)/
Foreign Portfolio Investors (FPIs) bought shares worth a net Rs 2537.13
crore on 7th November 2014. Domestic institutional investors sold shares
worth Rs 192.20 crore on that day.

The Labor Department said non-farm payroll employment rose by 214,000 jobs in October compared to economist estimates for an increase of about
235,000 jobs. At the same time, employment climbed by 256,000 jobs in September and by 203,000 jobs in August, reflecting a net upward revision of
31,000 jobs. The report also said the household survey measure of employment surged up by 638,000, outpacing the 416,000 increase in the size of
the labor force. Subsequently, the unemployment rate edged down to 5.8 percent in October from 5.9 percent in September
