Innovation Management – is an association with a
diverse network of members from research, industry,
consulting and the public sector with a shared passion
for innovation management.
Formed in 1983 in Norway, ISPIM is the oldest, largest
and most active innovation network in Europe,
expanding rapidly in the Americas and Asia-Pacific, with
members from over 70 countries.

• 1974 – First ISPIM conference (Trondheim)
• 2003 – First conference involving new board (Manchester)
• 2006 – ISPIM takes over its own events
• 2008 – First event in Asia-Pacific (Singapore)
• 2009 – First event in North America (New York)
• 2012 – ISPIM Conference attracts 500+ delegates (Barcelona)
• 2014 – Dedicated annual events in Asia-Pacific and North America
• 2018 – Launch of ISPIM Connects (Fukuoka)
