2. Analysis:
 What is the video all about?
 What are the words mentioned from the video clip use as an
adverb of manner?
What are the other words of an adverb of manner does
not end in ly?
Is the adverb of manner important in writing sentences?
Why?
How are the words written or form in the sentence using
the adverb of manner?
Rules to remember regarding the usage of adverbs of manner in the
sentence:
1. In using adverbs of manner in the sentence, be careful not
to place them between the object and the verb.
 Example:
 She quickly agreed to go to the store for milk.
 ( Her agreement was quick)
( adverbs of manner placed after the object)
 ( She would go to the store quickly)
2. If there is a preposition before the object, the adverb of
manner may be placed either before the preposition or after
the sentences object.
 Example:
 She ask me quietly to leave the room.( Her request was quite)
( adverbs of manner placed before the preposition)
 She asked me to leave the room quietly. ( I am not going to
make noise when I leave.)
( adverbs of manner placed after the object)
3. Add importance in sentence by placing adverb of manner
before both the verb and object and when these adverb are
placed at the beginning of a sentence they catch readers
attention.
 Example:
 ( The doctor gently awakened the sleeping patient.
( adverb of manner placed at the beginning of a sentence)

Application:
Group Activity: Group the pupils into 5 groups, let them decide who will lead their
group, the writer and the performer. Give the rubrics and criteria in doing the activity
remind them to observe classroom standard

Group 1: The teacher will let the members in this group must contribute thoughts, and ideas in order to create at least 2
sentences with the application with the adverbs of manner.

Group2: the teacher will let the members in this group must give 2 example of adverbs of manner and they must act it out
and spell the words correctly.

Group3: The teacher will let the members in this group illustrate the given sentences that has an adverb of manner.

Group4: The teacher will let the members in this group correct the lyrics of a song by putting on the accurate adverbs of
manner to a lyric.
