Welcome!
Welcome to TeachAllAboutIt! My name is Holly and I am the owner and lead tutor for our courses.
I’m a qualified Computer Science teacher, and am also home educating my own children through GCSEs and beyond. Since
leaving the traditional classroom 5 years ago, I’ve worked with BBC Bitesize and Cambridge Press as an author, published my
own revision guides, and worked with the National Centre for Computing Education as a Computing Facilitator (trainer).

What To Do If You Miss A Class
©TeachAllAboutIt 2022 – All Rights Reserved
Although live lessons run through term time, we understand that there will be times when you may be unable to attend a class due
to illness, holiday, or other activities. Don’t panic!
If you’re unable to attend a class or have a holiday booked, please let your tutor know by emailing them or sending an email to
hello@teachallaboutit.uk (it’s not mandatory, but helps us to keep notes for you).
During the live lesson, we usually create notes unless it’s a practical lesson. If notes are created, you’ll still be able to access them
from your tutor and for every lesson, there is a written / recorded lesson to help you catch up.
If the lesson you missed was a coursework lesson, this will be recorded in our coursework
log.
Coursework catch up sessions are rarely needed, but there will be an option to book onto
supervised catch up sessions if needed. If extra sessions are required due to exam
concessions, these are free to attend.

Live Lessons
All of our live lessons are held on Zoom. During live lessons, students can communicate in the way that makes them most
comfortable.
As we allow cameras to be on, we record all group classes. These are stored on a secure server for 30 days & then deleted
permanently. Class recordings are for safeguarding only – if you miss a class, I have a recorded video ‘lecture’ of each topic.

A link to the Zoom meeting for your course is in your
