2. Option 1: My house
Firstly, the first option I considered was my
house due to its ease of access as it would
be the main location I would be filming at
therefore I would be saving a lot of
travelling time for me along with the fact
that the location would be very simple to
obtain. The only downside about this
location is the fact my crew and the
equipment would have a slight difficulty at
getting to the location due to it residing in
Washington.
3. Option 2: Barnes
Park
Moreover, another potential option I have
for a filming location is Barnes Park as it
would be the perfect area for exterior
filming. The only issues with this location is
that I would need to ensure I had interior
contingency plans as although I will do a
weather check, the weather can be
unpredictable at times therefore I will need
to have a backup plan just encase. Also,
my crew will have slight difficulties with
getting the equipment and themselves to
the location.
4. Option 3: Sunderland
College
Finally, the third option I have for filming is
Sunderland College Bede Campus (the
studio room) as this area would be a good
place to have a planned ‘nightmare
sequence’ that I want in the horror short
film. However, my crew would have a
multitude of issues getting to the location
as it isn’t the most accessible area for my
crew.
5. Final decision
After a lot of consideration, I have decided that I want to use my house for
the primary filming location due to it being somewhat accessible for my
crew along with the fact it is a simple location to be allowed to film.
Furthermore, I decided that I would like a secondary location if I cannot
gain access to film at my house which is Branes Park as it is more
accessible for my crew to get to.
