first you need to grow your network. Here are four key ways to
get your social media site noticed and build a loyal following.
Network with influencers
Identify high profile accounts and follow them.
Share or retweet other users' updates and get
involved in conversations by commenting on
their content. Get noticed by mentioning
influencers in posts or tagging them in photos.
Include links where you can
Add Follow and Share buttons for your social
media accounts to your webpages and blog.
Include a link to your main profile in your email
signature and cross-promote accounts by adding
links to your bio or About page.
Promote in printed documents
Raise awareness of your social media accounts
offline by referring to them in any printed
documentation such as leaflets, newsletters,
posters, handouts, badges and promotional
items. You can download logos from most sites.
Be engaging and responsive
Make sure your content is interesting and
shareable by including links, images and videos.
Use questions and 'calls to action' to encourage
engagement. Respond promptly to any questions
or comments and thank users for sharing.
