Money Market & fixed Income Dealer Responsibilities as follows:
 Assisting in managing the bank’s relationship with local and overseas banks and other financial institutions.
 Daily monitor Vostro and Nostro accounts
 Prepare Cash flow report for all currencies
 Managing the treasury bills and bonds portfolio.
 Analyzing changes in financial, economic indicators &market conditions.
 Analyzing the cost of funds.
 Complying with all the central bank regulatory limits (reserve requirements& liquidity ratios )
 Enhancing treasury products and introducing new products to the bank.
 Manage the assigned portfolio of the bank’s investments, funding & liquidity activity to achieve maximum
revenue & optimum funding positions as well as compliance with statutory reserve requirements.
 Follow up new issues in the primary market and secondary market rates for T-bills , T-bonds and central bank of
Egypt deposits
 Arranging for the placement/borrowing of funds at authorized banks
 Update the declared interest rates for local and foreign currencies
 Prepare weekly interest rate market survey of competitors
 Analyzing and forecasting changes in the EGP yield curve given the latest markets updates
 Handling the bidding process in CBE auctions for deposits, repos, T-bills and Gov. bonds
 Trading wide range of local and foreign fixed income securities in the interbank market in addition to other
market players (brokers, asset managers and foreign investors)
 Quoting special rates on EGP and foreign currency time deposits and other products that offered to clients
 Handling cash management process
 Adhering to the group’s risk management criteria (counterparty limits and country exposure) CBE regulatory
ratios(required reserve, liquidity and concentration ration)
 Constantly monitors market and explores opportunities to increases the return on money market investments.
 Handled the execution and booking of fixed income and money market transactions.
 Works closely with the line manager on activities related to liquidity distribution, foreign exchange and interest
rate hedging exposures.
 Prepare daily bank position reports for management review and decision making & handling daily bank reporting.
 Provide support in the operational activities within the bank treasury for timely and efficient document processing
and implementation of systems and procedures.
