Group Credit Controller
Imdad (June 2015 – till now)
IMDAD is a well-known multinational company dealing with Aesthetic
Medicine since 1991, providing services in Gulf region, Jordan, Syria, and
Lebanon.
Develop the firm’s credit and billing policy in collaboration with the VP –
Finance (CFO).
Enhance collection and Credit Control procedures, and improve systems and
structure with the help of the IT department and accountants.
Report to the Finance Director on a weekly/monthly basis, aged debt
analysis and cash collection forecasts.
Suggest the credit terms for each customer and review the terms on semi-
annual basis.
Ensure the implementation of collection and credit control procedures, and
ensure the availability of the resources to carry out the tasks effectively
during the growth of the company to guarantee the collection of due
payments on time.
2. Maintain accurate and up to date client details and account records
Ensure timely postings of payments and invoices, and that payments are
applied correctly to the invoices.
Obtain sufficient information to assess the credit worthiness of new and
existing clients, by communicating with agencies, banks and review
payment history with the company.
Monitor overdue payments, Post Dated checks, returned checks, and
manage the collection team and coordinate with accountants.
Handle disputed accounts and negotiate with clients to bring payment in
line with terms
Undertake reconciliations and compile documentation for legal action as
necessary, including maintaining and keeping sales contracts and official
letters.
Carry out ad hoc duties/Reports as and when required by VP - Finance
Assist in selecting lawyers for each territories, and ensure all required
documents are ready for legal action.

Managing a team of 3 Credit Control Officers & Credit Supervisor,
reporting to Credit Control Manager and the Group CFO, over the group
of 6 entities [Business Unites] -Trading divisions they are: Home
Appliances Division [Represented agent of: GE, Samsung..], Carpet &

Ensuring proper maintenance of all customers’ files done on
weekly, monthly and quarterly basis to be done by the credit officer
accordingly.
Evaluating the analysis of the customer’s financial position and
market reputation in terms to open a new credit account by the credit
officer.
Evaluating the balances Confirmation from the customers directly,
