The Pakistan Air Force is the air warfare branch of the Pakistan Armed Forces, primarily tasked with the aerial defense
of Islamic Republic of Pakistan with a secondary role of providing air logistics support to the Pakistan Army and the Pakistan
Navy. PAF employs approximately 65,000 full-time personnel (including approximately 3,000 pilots) and, currently, operates
400 combat aircraftas well as various transport and training aircraft.
 Highly experienced in service maintenance and quality inspection for various aircraft: C-130 B
Cargo, C-130 E Cargo, L382B Cargo, Beach Baron, Cessna, Piper, F-7, F-6, Y-12 and Mushshak.
 Technically astute in troubleshooting, repairing or overhauling different aircraft engines primarily
T56-A-15 Engine for C-130 Aircraft, MRI-17 Engine for Mushshak Aircraft and WB-7B Engine for F-7
Aircraft.
 Proficient in rigging, adjustment, removal, installation and inspection of complete throttle, airframe
control and condition lever cables of the entire aircraft.
 Capable to manage phase maintenance and periodic inspection (pre, through and post flights).
 Adept in towing, mooring and parking C-130 Aircraft. Likewise, cognizant in ground crew functions.
 Versed in overseeing smooth and safety flow of operations within engine shop, central tool store or

Aircraft Mechanics & Service Technician / Airframe
 Diagnose, adjust, repair, or overhaul aircraft engines and assemblies, such as hydraulic and pneumatic
systems.
 Read and interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and other specifications to determine the
feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.
 Maintain repair logs, documenting all preventive and corrective aircraft maintenance.
 Conduct routine and special inspections as required by regulations.
 Examine and inspect aircraft components, including landing gear, hydraulic systems, and deicers to locate
cracks, breaks, leaks, or other problems. Inspect airframes for wear or other defects.
 Maintain, repair, and rebuild aircraft structures, functional components, and parts such as wings and
fuselage, rigging, hydraulic units, oxygen systems, fuel systems, electrical systems, gaskets, and seals.
 Measure the tension of control cables.
 Replace or repair worn, defective, or damaged components, using hand tools, gauges, and testing
equipment.
 Recommend replacement, repair, or modification of aircraft equipment.
 Inspect new, repaired, or modified aircraft to identify damage or defects and to assess airworthiness and
conformance to standards, using checklists, hand tools, and test instruments.
 Examine maintenance records and flight logs to determine if service and maintenance checks and overhauls
were performed at prescribed intervals and that aircraft are ready for operation.
 Clean, refuel, and change oil in line service aircraft.
 Remove, inspect, repair, and install in-flight refueling stores and external fuel tanks.
 Prepare and maintain detailed repair, inspection, investigation, and certification records and reports.
 Propose changes in rules, policies, standards, and regulations, based on knowledge of operating conditions,
aircraft improvements, and other factors.
Security / Ground Crew Services / Cargo Handling
 Direct electronic and human surveillance of the facility and access control by various modern methods.
 Patrol assigned area and scan staff and visitors’ baggage. Conducted security checks.
 Uphold safety and security of visitors, customers and employees.
 Lead emergency responses like fire incident, first aid responding and application of fire and safety
procedures.
 Perform basic ground equipment service including stowing and pick up-delivery of baggage, freight and
cargo.
 Provide assistance in loading and unloading clients' luggage.
 Maintain ramp area, building and equipment in a clean, presentable condition.
 Conducted Foreign Object Debris (FOD) cleanups to ensure a safe ramp.
 Safely and accurately load or unload aircrafts in a timely manner as directed by the aviation load masters,
load supervisors and aircraft crews. Stack and secure baggage on carts making sure it gets to correct
destination.
Administration & Team Supervision
 Liaise between management and technical staff on all administration matters.
 Coordinate and provide accurate, efficient and committed office work support in completing daily activities.
 Confer with internal departments to exchange information, coordinate activities and promptly resolve issues.
 Draft correspondences for different departments of concerned personnel.
 File documents systematically and keep all assigned files up-to-date.
 Lead and coordinate with team to ensure smooth functioning of day-to-day activities.
 Supervise technical staff, stores, accounts and inventory on different type of inspections.
 Implement safety precautions in respective work areas.
 Direct personnel to ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely, efficient and professional manner.
 Schedule activities of workers. Assign work based on worker requirements.
 Maintain time sheets and attendance records of staffs. Evaluate work performance plus human constraints.
 Ensure that staff had the skills, knowledge and motivation to carry out their roles effectively; offer trainings to
help them improve, maintain or learn new skills.
 Foster high quality work performance by coaching, motivating or disciplining employees.
 Deal with understaffing, resolve conflicts and administer disciplinary procedures.
