AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals LP/Bristol Myers Squibb/Amylin Pharmaceuticals
2014 – AstraZeneca formed a Diabetes Specialty Division in 2014. Selected to join the Fresno Specialty Team to call on
Endocrinologists and Endo-like physicians promoting 8 different diabetes products including both oral and injectable
products such as, Amylin, Bydureon, Byetta, Farxiga, Xigduo XR, Onglyza, Kombiglyze and Cialis. Territory lines span
south to Tulare,north to Stockton, and west to Monterey/Capitola area. Duties include developing and executing
territory business plans with specialists and other healthcare providers designed toachieve and exceed corporate goals.
Deliver clinically accurate and compelling presentations within compliance guidelines. Plan and execute MSL programs,
patient education programs, speaker dinner programs, webcast programs, education on demand programs. Develop and
maintain relationships with influential customers in territory. Analyze physician and competitor data to identify changing
market dynamics and adapt strategies as needed. Coordinate call activity and resource implementation with Primary
Care Representatives. Responsibilities include communicating and training primary care on newmarketing studies and
resources. I have taken on champion roles throughout years which include, regional and district Spirit role which
involves the planning and implementation of company events and meetings designed to promote creative and inspiring
themes to promote both regional and district bonding. Responsible for performing the various administrative
responsibilities in and accurate and timely manner,while adhering to company compliance policies and procedures.
