A presentation about genres

2. What is genre?
 A genre is a style or type of music,
literature (books about stories), movies,
and other media (methods of
communication such as television,
movies, or newspapers).

3. Representations
Electronic music is represented in a multitude of
ways. Firstly, there are many sub-genres of
Electro, the main being Dubstep. This features a
110 - 130 BPM tune, with occasional bass drops
and heavy riffs. A sub genre of Dubstep, is Glitch-
Hop. This is a faster BPM, at 110 – 150. The riffs
are lighter, and the bass drop tend to be higher
frequency, and more electrified.
Dance music is the main derivative of Electro,
which features heavier riffs, but lighter bass
drops, focusing the bass on one permanent
stream.
