This student was satisfied with their juvenile justice class because they learned real-world knowledge about struggles outside of textbooks that could be applied to real life. They also found it interesting that they may have known some of the people the teacher supervised from their hometown. The student liked that the teacher was understanding of their other obligations and let class out early, while still clearly explaining chapter details in a way that was easy to remember. Guest speakers provided additional insights and perspectives that supplemented the teacher's lessons. The student felt they learned new information that could be applied to their prior knowledge, and that the class was helpful while also being fun, except for days when it ran late.
