1. SPIDEY SENSES
Goals:
• Being in a moment
• Calming down
• Enhance focus
• Redirecting attention (ouside and back inside the body)
• Sensing and recognizing current emotion & mood
Description:
This exercise is used in individual situation to hepl focus the student
before the lesson. First the student is told to recognize her emotional state
or mood with help of the smileys. Than she gets in a comfortable position,
close her eyes and start controling her breathing. She is told to name 5
things she could see, 4 things she could hear, 3 things she could feel with
hands, 2 things she could taste and 1 current feeling. Than she is told to
focus on her hands and start the exercise with fingers. When she finishes,
she is trying to sens her current emotion or mood again.
