-
DESCRIPTION:
– Sit in a circle
– Before starting the activity the teacher remebers the proper posture to
do it: straight back, look ahead, legs intertwined like indians.
– Switch on the “pause button” to be calmed.
– The teacher remembers the concept of patience: Know how to wait
calmly
– Teacher puts on her magic glasses and asks students for permission
to look for the level of their patience tanks situated inside of them
because during the day those tanks lose their levels and each person
is responsible for keeping them always full. To keep them in a high
level we can:
– Eat food with Vitamine P (Patience), they are usually
orange: pumpkin, orange, mandarines, juices, carrots...
– Touch orange things.
– Breathe orange things.
– The teacher observe the level of the patience tanks and she can see
that the most of them are nearly empty, and as they haven't got
anything orange to eat they decided to light an orange inciense stick
for breathing the smoke through the nose to fill in the patience tanks
to be prepare for the patience activity.
– They take some deep breaths
– The teacher uses a mantra, students know that a mantra is a magic
2. song sang in INDI, a language we didn't know but that helps the
brain to forget pain, fear, sadness, etc and to relax us.

– While students sang the mantra, teacher does kinesiology exercises
to work fine motor skills and concentration and students repeat them.
– When the mantra finishes the teacher puts on her magic glasses again
to observe the students' level of patience, and in general they are
much better than before.
– For the patience activity, the teacher gives students soft candies. But
they can't eat them, they have to wait because all the students must
eat the candy at the same time, if they can't wait to the others, they
have to throw the candy to the paperbin.
– First the students observe the candy: its colour, its shape, its texture,
the letters on it, its corners, its hardness, its smell, etc.
– Later the students have to unwrap the candy without breaking the
paper. If a student unwraps the candy,he or she will have to put in
front of them, on the floor, and then wait until everybody has
finished. They can't help nobody, but they can encourage them.
– When all the students have all their candies unwrapped, they observe
the candy again and talk about its characteristics.
– They smell the candy and they put it on their lips
– Then they put the candy in their mouth but without eating them until
the teacher counts until 20.
– When the counting finishes they can eat the candies.
– When the activity ends they give themselves a big applause because
they will feel very proud of themselves.
– To finish, they switch off the Pause button and they say goodbye
using the word and the action of Namasté and now they are ready to
start another activity.
This activity can last up about 30 or 40 minutes
