PERSONAL STATEMENT
Degree holder of Bachelor Sc. (Hons) in Hotel Management. Graduated from UITM Dungun Terengganu
in year 2014. With the experience and exposure that I have acquired while working with Upstream
Production Academy, I believe that I can be an asset to your organization. Looking forward for any position
related to administration and training which I can deliver my creativity, courtesy and credibility as well as
enhancing my skills and to develop more knowledge within the organizations.

Organized talk with regards to “Nutrition Knowledge and Practices” and was appointed as emcee for the
event. Ensuring flow of the event run smoothly becoming the key factor as an emcee.
Managing class trip to Johor Bahru for 4 days and 3 nights and was appointed as committee leader.
Ensuring logistic, financial and other subcommittee work together in order for trip run as per planned.
Timing become crucial as each visiting places need to precisely follow trip itinerary.
Through pair work, presentation and report on theses of “Online Intermediaries and Direct Hotel Booking
from Customer Perceptions” was successfully completed. Time management as well process of collecting
data is the first priority since exact information is required as well the theses must abide the date line.
Besides, teamwork is needed and task should be delegate accordingly so both of us will monitor the
development of the theses and come out with a positive outcome. Presentation was done by us and we
manage to answer all the questions given regards of my theses. All in all, it was a good experience for me
to develop my soft skills and manage my work efficiently.

EMPLOYEMENT EXPERIENCE
13/10/2014 – Until now : PETRONAS Carigali Sdn Bhd
(Planning and Coordinating Executive, Upstream Production Academy [UPA])
Manage the administrative matters for Upstream Production Academy which includes:-
1) Coordinate UPA program intake and activity scheduling
Consolidate training program such as Upstream Operations Induction Program (UOIP),
Management of Major Emergencies (MME) and OIM & PSMS BTEC Certification with region
(Terengganu Operations, Sarawak Operations and Sabah Operations). Obtain nomination with
region Capability Team, come out with the venue and logistic arrangement, issued Joining
Instruction to participants, gain feedback upon training and issuing certificate accordingly.
Strictly ensure the cost saving initiative being implemented. Manage schedule for UOIP and
MME program and frequent communicate with service provider and region Capability team to
ensure training run as per scheduled. Lastly, tracking of MME participants competency
database to ensure validity of the training for each personnel.
2) Manage budget planning and utilization for department
Involve in budget preparation by using Budget Planning and Consolidation (BPC) Program and
provide advice on budget utilization for each section within UPA. Monitor budget by using SAP
(ECC6) system in order to ensure actual budget utilization as per planned budget. Do monthly
budget tracking and report to budget consolidator.

3) Manage invoices submitted by service providers
Screen through invoice upon received, check with current contract agreement between service
provider and UPA. Ensure charged amount tally with provided service. All invoices shall be
process within 14 days from the date received.
4) Managing service provider contract with UPA
Involved in preparation of contract for UOIP and MME and liaise with legal personnel on
contractual matters. Seek for legal advice and follow up with Supply Chain Management team
to ensure contract shall follow PETRONAS guidelines. Ensure service providers shall follow what
has been agreed in delivering services. Monitor contract expiry between UPA and service
providers.
5) Manage UOIP graduation ceremony and meetings
Involved in event pre preparation, present and post mortem after event completed.
Consolidate UPA quarterly meeting by preparing minutes of meeting and then distribute to all
required personnel. Plan and consolidate annual Key Performance Indicator (KPI) setting for all
section under UPA.
6) Provide administrative support to other section within the academy
Provide secretarial support for other sections which include staff travelling and meeting
arrangement. Coordinate Employee Performance Scorecard for renewal of contract for
contract staff (under third party) and contract direct hire. This is to ensure each staff shall
achieve KPI that has been set on each year. Facilitate the preparation of monthly reports and
distribute accordingly to all sections.

(Sales Coordinator, Sales & Marketing Department)
Perform job as sales coordinator by sending quotations, doing follow up, making pro forma invoice,
prepare weekly schedule of forecast event, entertain walk-ins clients, upsell hotel product, assisting
Sales Executive in their task, have good coordination with other department for every incoming and
on-going event and acknowledge them regards of any changes, have a good product knowledge,
assisting clients in planning their events by giving suggestions and opinions such as wedding,
honeymoon package, teambuilding, seminar and seminar with residential package. Also assist Sales
Executive in budget preparation and administrative works.

Intern at front office department as guest service assistant by learning on how to perform standard
procedure of check in, check out and making reservation as well have a good knowledge of the hotel
to up sell rooms and perform night audit.
