THE REAL
DEFINITION OF
DONE
-Amar Shrestha
SCRUM
The Definition of Done is an
agreed-upon set of items that must
be completed before a project or user
story can be considered complete.
DEFINITION
The definition of done (DoD) is when
all conditions, or acceptance criteria,
that a software product must satisfy
are met and ready to be accepted by
a user, customer, team, or consuming
system.
IS IT REALLY "DONE"?
The act of completing a task or defining what constitutes "done" is a process
that continuously evolves and iterates. Something that may seem
unimportant at present can later become crucial.
THE BALANCE
The true completion lies in discovering
the delicate equilibrium between
meeting customer expectations and
delivering within our capabilities.
AGILE & GETTING
IT DONE
Definition of Done has been like
training wheels that were never
removed, and it’s holding Agile back
from reaching its full potential
