4.  Earthwork include the process of site investigation,
clearing and excavation.

5.  Formwork is a term used for process of creating a
temporary mould in which concrete is to be poured.
eg. shuttering.

6.  After the batching of material, mixing is done. It is of 2
types:
 Hand mixing
 Machine mixing

7.  Plain cement concrete is a mixture of binding material
(cement), aggregate (sand,bajri), water and some chemical
admixtures.

8. Construction material which contain mixture of concrete
and reinforced material (steel bars) to improve the tensile
stresses.

DIA. OF BAR USED IN COLUMN=25mm
DIA. OF STIRRUP = 8mm

10.  DIA. OF BAR USED IN WALL=16mm

11.  Masonry produced by brick layers, using bricks and
mortar. Row of bricks called course and laid on top of one
another, to build up structure.

12. Curing is a process of maintaining moisture and
temperature condition of concrete for hardening
properties.

13.  Plastering is done after curing on brick masonry. A
required proportion of cement and fine sand used in
plastering.
