12. Justification
• There is one point for every day in the pretest
and experiment time period (7 weeks and 43
points in total)
• The bar graph displays the frequency and
duration of Katie’s work out sessions (16
total).
• The pie graph allows one to visualize week by
week how much time was spent in physical
activity.
13. Results
• The line graph measuring the well being scale
showed a significant increase in Katie’s
feelings of overall well being.
– Pretest average rating was 3
– Average during intervention was 5.1
14. Results continued
• Katie worked out an average of 2.66 times per
week.
• She was able to reward herself with a
shopping trip once during the experiment by
working out three times per week for two
weeks in a row.
15. Conclusion
• Another explanation could be that the
increase in socialization that Katie experienced
from her support group also increased her
sense of well being.
• The overall results of this study showed a
significant increase in Katie’s overall well
being.
