 Provide strategic vision and develop the roadmap for core and ancillary banking applications.
 Lead, develop and direct a 14 person team of development and support staff responsible for the usage,
administration, maintenance and upgrades, troubleshooting and support of all applications.
 Manage conversion, consolidation and integration of acquired financial institutions.
 Participate in evaluating and leading the development of new systems and applications and the enhancement
of existing applications.
 Assess the current environment and identify opportunities to improve stability and performance.

Chief Information Officer 2009 to 2013
ELGA Credit Union is a $300 million community chartered, financial institution serving Genesee and Oakland
Counties.

 Senior Manager for the credit union’s Information Technology Department. This included managing and
overseeing daily system operations; WAN/LAN infrastructure; and database activities.
 Established and directed the strategic long-term goals, policies and procedures for the I.T. Department.
 Evaluated the current structure and operations to identify areas where efficiency and effectiveness could be
improved through the use of new or existing technology.
 Initiated and developed internal and external partnerships to leverage the credit union’s technology
investments.
 Managed engineers responsible for network performance, Cisco switches/routers/IPS, network security,
Active Directory, Exchange, VMWare cluster, MPLS, point-to-point WAN, pubic website, wireless
connectivity, and all disaster recovery requirements.

 Instituted the use of a corporate-wide project management methodology utilizing the Project
Management Institute’s techniques supported by their accredited certification
 Implemented a new Collections Management System that has a real-time interface to our core
system to ensure accurate information and promote better efficiencies within the Credit

 Developed a stringent database management process for ensuring the Oracle system is running
at an optimal level to ensure access speed is effective.
 Implemented a Cisco Unity Connection phone system including VOIP, voicemail, unified
messaging, branch Catalyst appliances, and disaster recovery PUB for full redundancy.
 Designed and managed the engineering of a disaster recovery site which included MPLS data
communications; fully redundant telephone system; a well-prepared hot-site; real-time
replicated systems including main Oracle services; mirrored and replicated virtual servers;
automatic fail-over for data communications used for card processing, internet banking, and
public/corporate internet.
Genisys Credit Union Auburn Hills, MI
Vice President, Information Technology 2002 to 2009
Genisys Credit Union has over $1.2 billion in assets under management. They operate 25 branches in three
states serving over 120,000 members.
Primary Job Duties:
 Served as executive manager responsible for the 18 person Information Technology Department. This
includes network manager, project managers, computer operations manager, database/warehouse
administrators, security manager and application developers.
 Established long-term technology strategy to support overall goals of the organization.
 Demonstrated effective leadership and encouraged team concepts.
 Directed the operation of the network consisting of 50 servers, 320 desktops, and 25 branches locations in
three states, all security applications, telecommunication and VOIP, virtual servers, routers, switches,
disaster recovery site and email.
 Negotiated all technology contracts with vendors and service providers.
 Responsible for the development, maintenance, improvement and growth of all eCommerce channels.
 Maintained complete Information Technology system documentation, procedures, network security policies,
eCommerce policies and audit support documents.
Select Achievements
 Lead two technology teams through a corporate merger of our financial institutions. As a
combined entity, we successfully met the assigned due dates on over 80 projects in 10 months.
The projects included: core system and data conversion, network integration for 25 branch
offices, email consolidation, evaluation and selection of surviving third party applications,

integration of all network security requirements.
 Managed a corporate-wide core system conversion from a mainframe environment to a thin-
client/server based system. Led 20 cross-functional project teams during this conversion. The
project spanned over 11 months including vendor selection, planning, data conversion, testing
and user certification, coordination of over 30 third party interfaces, and employee education.
 Engineered a fully redundant, off-site disaster recovery system providing complete access and
functionality for branches, call center, and online banking, within hours of a declared disaster.
 Designed and developed a Business Intelligence solution centralizing disparate data for mining
and report publishing to be easily available to all users through the corporate intranet.
 Worked closely with I.T. management and the business units to improve corporate relations.
 Implemented an internet lending product, a client-server based loan origination system, and
CRM solution.
Dearborn Federal Credit Union, Inc. Dearborn, MI
Senior Manager, Information Services 1996 to 2002
Dearborn Federal Credit Union has over $1.6 billion in assets under management. They are the largest credit
union in Michigan and are in the top 25 out of the 8,000 credit unions in the country.
