Plan, direct, and coordinate multiple development teams building websites, web applications, and middleware
components providing web tools to internal and external customers.
 Managed multiple development teams supporting websites/microsites, web applications, and
mobile apps. Supported internal and external customers providing marketing tools, sales tools,
product details, illustration calculators, and policy detail information.
 Supported applications utilizing many different languages, frameworks, and technologies.
(WebSphere, IIS, .net, Java, JavaScript, Cordova, HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, Bootstrap, CMS, AJAX,
SOAP, XML, Oracle, SQL Server, Team Site, SharePoint, Google Analytics, Webtrends)
 Led the transition of mobile iPad app. Development was outsourced allowing us to add resources
and maintain cost structure. Modified app to call web services replacing hard coded logic. Hybrid
technologies are being implemented allowing apple or android tablet usage.
 One of first teams in Transamerica to transition from waterfall to agile project methodology utilizing
the Scrum framework. Resulted in employee empowerment, servant leadership, and product owner
satisfaction. Acted as the product owner and scrum master for multiple teams.
 Took part in monthly sprint planning meetings, retrospectives, sprint reviews, and product backlog
grooming.
 Facilitated employee engagement activities. Co-lead for the 2013 TechFest program that inspires
innovation and out of the box thinking. Facilitated monthly meetings where employees can share
new technologies. Coordinated offsite meetings for team building. Encouraged team to spend eight
hours a month doing research.
 Built offshore development team to address increased demand for development work. Costs
remained low and team was able to support additional work load.

 Implemented a SharePoint solution to manage content change requests for multiple websites.
Solution eliminated lost emails, established work flow process, provided details needed to monitor
status and generated month end reporting.
 Improved code migration change management process by implementing RepliWeb jobs automating
manual code moves. Migration process moved to change management; process followed SOX
compliance rules.
 Partnered with agent support team to implement enhancements to agent portals. Policy search was
enhanced to include the last 10 searches. Agents no longer had to type in the policy number they
could select it from a drop down menu making it easier to check status. Gave agents ability to
impersonate users to simplify issue resolution.
 Implemented new metrics gathering process and key performance indicators for Transamerica
technology group. Incidents, productivity, on-time delivery, defects, SLA’s.
