1. Cable Maintenance Engineer in Underground Cable Unit, O&M Section,
Electricity Transmission Department, KAHRAMAA (Qatar General Electricity &

 Operation and Maintenance of 400 kV, 220 kV, 132 kV, 66 kV & 33 KV Cable
Networks for KAHRAMAA (Qatar General Electricity & Water
Corporation), QATAR.
 Operation and Maintenance of different makes of switch gears in 400
KV,220 kV ,132 KV,66 kV & 33 KV Gas insulated Switchgear Substations (GIS)
and Metal Clad Switchgear Substations.
 To do the preventive maintenance of XLPE Cables by Sheath test to check
healthiness of Outer Sheath.
 To do the Outer sheath fault location & repairing the sheath.
 Checking the intensity of the oil leak (Whether Major or Minor) in Oil Filled

HYUNDAI,TOSHIBA,CALORI-EMAG etc) in 300 KV,132 KV,33 KV Gas

 Checking & maintenance of gauges for cable oil pressure alarm ( COPA ) &
cable oil pressure trip ( COPT ).
