Profile A Software Engineer since 2010, I was a resource for the Financial Services.
I handled the ETL Tool Informatica and other tools such as Mainframe(COBOL), Unix,
Oracle Database, and Peoplesoft Tools.
I was also exposed with Cognos ETL and some of its reporting aspects.
My tasks in both tools also include production support in which i handled ticket problems
and their resolutions.
Recent role was in a Telecommunications project as an application support and acting
lead directly to two resources and indirectly to the whole team. (May 2014 to March

As a senior member, I learned a lot about handling/managing my teammates. With the
help of my previous work experiences, I guide them on their tasks to deliver high quality
services.
I've manage to bring out the best out of them or atleast address their weaknesses and
be a better resource for the company. An example of this is one of my teammates is
having a hard time with his english speaking fluency. I had him takeover a bi-weekly
ticket review with the clients (guiding and supervising during the early meetings,
sometimes assisting him) until he became comfortable and able to do the task by
himself. He even developed a closer relationship with the client. With my other
teammate, i had the chance to bring out his inner leadership. He has started as a grad-
hire, he wasnt confident enough to take on tasks especially communicating with the
client. As i can relate to him, remembering my newbie days, I had him become our POC
for client issues but ofcourse still consulting with me and also giving real-time guiadance.

Time went on, i could see the change in his character - taking initiatives and being more
cautious in dealing with production issues are some of his great developments.
