 FMEA: Emergency Department Mislabeled Unlabeled Specimens:
o Number of events dropped by 80%
 Re-designed Hospital Safety Program:
o Incident report review turnaround time (TAT) dropped by ~ 97% (232.5 days to 6.35 days)
o Incident reports closed within 10 days increased from 23% to 91%
 Implemented telemetry monitoring on a surgical unit.
o During the implementation, 98% associates were successful in certification.
o Patient Satisfaction: Nurses Overall: 86.5 to 89.5
o Patient Satisfaction: Staff address emotional needs: 81.7 to 86.7

o Wound incidence rates dropped from 22% to 7.9% within 6 months of project
