The goals of the school were to:
1. increase the students’ registration,
2. establish a collaboration with Higher Education
Institutes and several professionals,
3. improve the educational programs,
4. apply new educational programs with the
collaboration between parents and educators.

96% of the parents evaluated the school program with a high
score
91% of the students stated that the school environment was
improved after the evaluation
22,7% increase of student registrations
90% of the students achieved the highest score and 22%
improved their grade.
The seniors scored 26,5% higher grade above the average in the
Pan-hellenic examinations.
The school upgraded its services and provided educational
material via its website.

This evaluation system combines self-evaluation (interior)
and external evaluation.
It is adaptable.
The educators have the opportunity without psychological
pressure to work as a team and improve their teaching
methods.
The students work on different school projects.
The school is independent and creates its own educational
program and sets new goals every year .
The career counseling office is involved with the strategic
plan of the school and collaborates with the educators.

A new perspective for school evaluation and counseling

  • 13. The goals of the school were to: 1. increase the students’ registration, 2. establish a collaboration with Higher Education Institutes and several professionals, 3. improve the educational programs, 4. apply new educational programs with the collaboration between parents and educators. 13

Group seminars (providing information about several professions, domestic and foreign institutes, practicing on how to write a cv/resume, a personal statement, search for a suitable higher educational program, a job, prepare for an interview) 7.   • 20. Rank: 1st school of Northern Greece, 5th school in Pan- Hellenic Evaluation 96% of the parents evaluated the school program with a high score 91% of the students stated that the school environment was improved after the evaluation 22,7% increase of student registrations 90% of the students achieved the highest score and 22% improved their grade. The seniors scored 26,5% higher grade above the average in the Pan-hellenic examinations. The school upgraded its services and provided educational material via its website. 20
  • 21. This evaluation system combines self-evaluation (interior) and external evaluation. It is adaptable. The educators have the opportunity without psychological pressure to work as a team and improve their teaching methods. The students work on different school projects. The school is independent and creates its own educational program and sets new goals every year . The career counseling office is involved with the strategic plan of the school and collaborates with the educators. 21
