ACTIVITY REPORT
(June 2023)
ACTIVITIES CARRIED OUT:
• under the title, Nature, our friend, various activities took place that involved the
students in the processes of observing nature, making them aware that a well-kept and
healthy environment favors a harmonious process of growth and development;
• activities within the SENHAR project, carried out in collaboration with UNIPA
(University of Studies in Palermo, Department of Earth and Sea Sciences);
• student football championships for youth;
• lessons in the science laboratory - analysis of the material collected on the beach;
• dissemination activities, at the school and local community level;
• collaboration activity with partners for the creation of a common ebook with aspects
of Nature, our friend activities;
• analysis and establishment of conclusions regarding the implementation of the first
year of the project.
OBJECTIVES ACHIEVED:
• exploring and observing the environment;
• using the natural environment as a learning environment;
• development of observation and description skills;
• improving communication in English;
• understanding that well-being also depends on a correct lifestyle and respect for the
environment;
• sharing inclusive educational strategies with partner schools;
• the involvement of the school staff in the analysis of the project after the first year
of implementation;
• promoting school inclusion by involving students with disabilities in outdoor
activities.
RESULTS:
- ebook – Nature, our friend;
- lesson plans;
- photo-album; reports; evaluation questionnaires.
