2. My Short Film
• I’m basing my short film on two characters, ‘Margot and ‘Jack’, they
are on a walk and they end up not being sure of where they are,
Margot is sure that there is a shortcut one of the ways, Jack is not so
convinced but they decide to go that way anyway. A car then comes
out of nowhere and hits them, then there is going to be a montage of
the walk that they went on that morning, this montage is going to act
as a reverse in time so they get to go back to the junction where they
were deciding which way to go, they decide to go the other way and it
leads to the same fate as before.
3. Sound & Cinematography
• I would like to have dreamy music in my short film for the first section
and then I want it to become more intense as the shots go on.
• I want the shots with my characters to have a shallow depth of field
so the audience will be able to concentrate on the main focus.
• I would like to have a good variety of shots such as close-ups, extreme
close-ups, long shots, establishing shots.
• I also would like to include different camera movements.
• I am going to add a pinkish colour to all of my shots.
