4. Title sequence 1: Machete
• Theme of killing and blood is hinted by the red
hazy glow throughout
• Fast paced music is used, this portrays action
packed movie
• Introduction of main characters through still
shots
• Sound effects matching the stills eg. Sound of
knife slashing with the still of a knife
• No moving action only stills are used
• The credits are left until last
5. Title sequence 2: Rubicon
• There are lots of different types of
codes, looks like it involves code breaking
• It looks like they are trying to find something
or someone
• Titles appear throughout, these say the names
of actors

• This is a relative type of action movie
• It is shot at a birds eye view of a city
• There is an important main actor who has a
police escort
• There is an anti-USA protest, looks to be
happening in Spain

• I will include titles at the start with actors
names
• Sound and sound effects can be used to show
emotions of characters, this will set the tone
• I realised that it doesn’t always need to be
moving action, I may use stills aswell
