4. Important tips
Roll your tongue for phoneme /r/
pronunciation.
Phoneme : any one of the set of smallest
units of speech in a language that
distinguish one word from another.
One vowel sound gives us one syllable.
Syllable : any of the units into which a
word is divided containing a vowel sound
& usually one or more consonants.
When there is a double letter it is split to
produce separate syllables. Eg. lit-tle.
6. Enhance Reading

tool to improve reading.

7. Blends, digraphs & split
digraphs?
Consonant blends(also called as
consonant clusters) are groups of two
or three consonants in words that
makes a distinct consonant sound . Eg.
“bl” or “spl”.
Consonant digraphs are groups with
combination of of two letters
representing one sound. Eg. “ph”, “qu”.
When a digraph is split by a consonant
it becomes a split digraph. Eg. Wrote-
“oe” make one sound.
