1. Logo
During the creation of our logo, a vote was held to determine which of the fonts
would be used.
A variety of fonts where chosen to be in the final selection (See Above)
The fonts where chosen based on their appearance and their relevance to the
Film Noir Genre.
From the Left, the font looked like an old type of English writing, which would
have been best suited for Horror.
The Middle had two fonts, one of which symbolised graffiti while the other was
more of the Horror Genre based.
The Bottom left was selected, as it resembled the Neon lights, which are a typical
Film Noir convention.
The bottom right was chosen, as it was similar to the style of Se7en intro text
where as the top right was similar to text on withered paper.
In the end we picked the Text at the top of the middle picture.
During the development stage the text was split into three colours, Black, White
and Grey.
The white text was chosen to be the text in the final version along with an ink
splatter, which is also white, the end product looks like this:
