3. The final draft has the TV CHOICE logo, replicated in
Photoshop, at the top left hand corner of the page, a
common convention in TV CHOICE magazine. It also has
page numbers at the bottom of both pages, again another
common convention in general in magazines.
There will also be a large, bold, serifs font,
masthead that will go
underneath the nine principle images. The colours of the
masthead will run through the article to keep it a two tone
colour scheme on which we have yet to decide. The
standfirst will go directly underneath the masthead and the
colour of the text will be determined by the colour of the
masthead along will the grab quotes and drop caps.
4. Our final draft will also have text in columns, in serifs
font, again following another common convention in
magazines.
There will also be drop caps throughout the text and grab
quotes from the article to make the reader want to read
on.
Also, captions will be placed underneath the image to tell
the reader more about what is happening in the image
and why it is important. There will be screen grabs from
the documentary and in total 11 images.
5. The principal images on the magazine will be the nine
pictures of teenagers of different skin colour, hair
colour, religion, culture, social groups etc, to reflect the
wide array of opinions we will take in to account in our
documentary. The images will be a medium close up/
close up in natural light and the person will be central
in the image.
Ellie interviewing and doing her piece to camera will
be what the two other images consist of to highlight
her key role in the documentary.
6. As you can see, the final draft has been made up of all
three members ideas and designs. There will be
changes made as we go along and create the article but
the final draft is determining our article lay out so far.
