• During Paul’s time in Macedonia he greatly
needed encouragement (2 Corinthians 7:5-6)
• Paul wanted the Corinthians to “open their hearts”

• Paul planned his letters and visit so that when
they met face to face (2 Corinthians 1:23-2:3)
• They could spend valuable time encouraging and
comforting one another.

11. IMPORTANT MOMENTS
• Sometimes the Lord wants us to sit and think
• Now the LORD had prepared a great fish to swallow
Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days
and three nights. Then Jonah prayed to the LORD his God
from the fish’s belly. (Jonah 1:17-2:1)
• Paul spent three day fasting and praying after meeting
the Lord. (Acts 9:9,11)
• Even Jesus spent precious moments alone praying
to the Father
