1. You Can Become A Better You!-Part 2
Jesus wanted them to be more ef-
fective in reaching the world with the
Gospel. Why? Jesus gave us an anti-
dote to the world‟s problem: The Gospel
Of Truth! There is no guile in the gos-
pel of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the
Way, the Truth and the Life. John 14:6
You cannot light a lamp and hide it.
Light is meant to be seen. You will
agree with me that darkness is a recipe for evil. We can go farther and call
this light “Good” and call darkness “Evil”. The devil is the architect of all
wickedness done in darkness. There are many people out there who are
gifted in various fields but they have buried their talents. God‟s people
must shine! Song: “God‟s People Come Together, Let Your Light Shine“ !

2. Fear and procrastination gnaws their bones. God has not given
us the Spirit of Fear but of Love, Power and Sound mind. 2 Tim.
1:7. Do not be cowed by any earthly systems, stand up and be
counted labouring in the Vineyard of God!
In a well-lit city you expect minimal crime rate. Many crime cases are re-
ported where there is insufficient lighting systems in place. Mosquitoes,
bedbugs and other related pests takes cover in dark areas of our facilities.
They feel very uncomfortable with light.
The Tabernacle that God instructed Moses to set up was not to be hid-
den but to be in a central location to be ac-
cessed by all. God’s covenant people are
the light and salt of earth. Mat. 5:13-16, The
light in the Temple was never to be extin-
guished. “The fire shall ever be burning up-
on the altar; it shall never go out.” Lev. 6:13
The „Holy Of Holies‟ was a restricted area.
The High Priest accessed it once in a year.

3. Christian Missionaries spread this
Light farther. Whenever Missionaries op-
erated, they left a lasting mark. They
built Hospitals, schools, colleges where
the locals received improved healthcare,
proper sanitation and acquired formal ed-
ucation. These institutions were instru-
mental in eradicating poverty, disease s
like Polio, Measles, Malaria and others.
These plaques would wipe out the whole
community. It is believed that there are
some ancient civilizations that were van-
quished due to such catastrophes. The INCAS of South Africa (PERU) are
listed among these. Religious organizations have always supported vulner-
able people affected by drought in Semi-arid areas.

4. They provide them with food, medicine, shelter and clothing. Some Chris-
tian organizations like Joyce Meyer Ministries and Porterhouse Ministries
by T. D Jakes sinks boreholes. The affected communities waters their ani-
mals in these facilities. This is one way of bringing light to the dark world.
Communities enjoy-

Religious organiza-
tions. You could see
these water points
in drought-stricken
areas of Africa and
Asia. There is sill
more to be done to
reach more disad-
vantaged people.

5. MUI HUWA MWEMA is a Swahili saying meaning it is possible for
a bad person to transform and be a good person. After the fall of
man in the Garden of Eden, God Himself initiated the redemption of
mankind through Second Adam (Jesus Christ). It is written: “And I
will put enmity Be-
tween you and the
woman, And be-
tween your seed
and her Seed; He
shall bruise your
head, And you shall
bruise His heel."
Gen. 3: 15. It is sin
from the evil one that corrupted man.

6. It is also the Righteousness of the
LORD God through His Son Jesus that jus-
tifies us. One Drop of His Precious
Blood has Power to Restore All Human
race back to God in holiness. The Life
of the flesh is in the blood. It is written:
“For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon
the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that
makes atonement for the soul.' Lev. 17:11-KJV
Zacchaeus was a chief tax collector. He had passion to improve. He
desperately needed change. That why he climbed a Sycamore tree to see
Jesus who was passing through Jericho. Then Zacchaeus stood and said
to the Lord, "Look, Lord, I give half of my goods to the poor; and if I
have taken anything from anyone by false accusation, I restore four-
fold.” Luke 19:1-10. - NKJV

7. ." And Jesus said to him, "Today salvation has come to this house, be-
cause he also is a son of Abraham; Luke 19:8-9
Those who embrace the Light of God will never lick wounds but always
have a cutting edge in their life‟s battles! The Presence of God in our lives
makes us better. Where the presence of God is, there is Freedom and
Peace. That is why we should all embrace it through His Holy Word! May

your precious Blood. Come into my
heart and change me. Make me a bet-
ter person. I will live for you all the
