was Mt. Sinai?
Why would Moses lead his sheep
800 km to the Sinai Peninsular?
Now Moses was tending the flock of
Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of
Midian. And he led the flock to the back
of the desert, and came to Horeb, the
mountain of God. )Exodus 3:1, NKJV(
“So He said, “I will certainly be with you.
And this shall be a sign to you that I
have sent you: When you have brought

they cross the sea?
A Minority Opinion
Mt Sinai is in volcanic
plateau in Saudi Arabia
on the Red sea coast.
The Israelites followed
a well known trade

they cross the sea?
A Minority Opinion: They crossed at the head of

wind pushed the sea back.
When the tide turned and the
wind stopped at Moses
command the water raced back
like a tidal bore drowning
Pharaoh’s chariots.

trust and obey or die in the desert.
The way God provided the manna
and quail tested their obedience.

18. What can we learn from Exodus?
We have seen God heal and
provide yet too often we doubt.
How often do we try solve
problems our way without
asking God first?
Exodus reminds us to listen,
trust and obey even when we
think we know better.
