Global CAT (Italy). This is the first project where the ATM applications were made web based. This uses NT
Delivery System (NTDS) architecture which is the delivery architecture for the next generation of Citibank
applications.
Global CAT application designed to run on the NTDS infrastructure. When the user connects to the application
web site through a browser (say IE 4.0 or Netscape 4.0), the HTTP request is sent to the NTDS infrastructure,
which elicits a response from the host, builds a HTML page dynamically and sends it to the browser to present it
to the user.

8. Project Description
ENT 802 was an ATM application developed for seven businesses in Europe. This project was initiated for the
inclusion of EMU as a currency or the seven businesses.
The highlights of this release are:
Euro comes into existence as a soft currency
“in” countries exchange rates irrevocably locked against the euro at a fixed conversion rate to the “in”
Currencies (the currencies joining the first wave of EMU countries)
euro used in banking systems alongside local currencies (“dual accounting”)
The ATMs will be connected to the SFS front-end processor, which will authorize the transactions and notify
the host processor of the authorization. In the laboratory testing conditions, Cititest, a tool developed in Visual
Basic was used as a host response simulator for the ATM machines.
